I have been living outside from Almendralejo, in Madrid, for more than 30 years, but my heart is still in the place where I grew up, home of José de Espronceda and Carolina Coronado. Here is my home, my family. Any moment is a good one to return, to enjoy strolling through its magical and beautiful corners that brings me back to a romantic past.

Palaces such as Monsalud, Marquesa de La Oliva or La Encomienda; religious buildings of great beauty and different styles like Gothic Renaissance; the parish of the Purification from the fifteenth century; the Convent of San Antonio; the nineteenth century church Corazón de María, a jewel of the neo-Gothic… Beautiful gardens and squares like the one in Espronceda, where our theatre Carolina Coronado, is located. A jewel is the bullring next to the park of Nuestra Señora de La Piedad. Almendralejo is much more, archaeology, sites of great interest, highlighting its museum, and the site of Huerta Montero that takes us back to prehistoric times.

And yes, Almendralejo is more, much more than culture, festivals of tourist interest, las Candelas festivity, the Romanticism festival... And its wines and wine cellars are internationally recognized.

Y si, Almendralejo es más, mucho más, cultura, fiestas de interés turístico regional, las candelas, el romanticismo, fiestas patronales… Y sus vinos y cavas reconocidos internacionalmente.
