DEVOTIONAL MUSEUM
DEVOTIONAL MUSEUM
The Devotional Museum is located next to the Sanctuary of ‘Nuestra Señora de la Piedad’. Its promoter was Mr. Tobías Medina Cledón, and it was inaugurated on August 15, 1995.
It was inaugurated in 1995 and emerged with the idea of being a place to house the church's artifacts. Shortly after, its expansion began because, thanks to the large number of pieces donated by the devotees of the Virgin, it became too small.
In it, we can contemplate sacramental and religious books from the 16th to the 19th centuries, goldsmithery from the 16th to the 20th centuries, imagery from the 16th to the 20th centuries, paintings from the 18th to the 20th centuries, liturgical garments, costumes of the patron saint, and the "Treasure of the Virgin," consisting of jewelry donated from the 18th to the 20th centuries.
