SAN MARCOS CHAPEL AND NATURAL PARK

The park we are referring to, is in Almendralejo (Badajoz) and it has an extension of 138,000 square metres. The chapel of Saint Marcos is the place where it is celebrated a religious pilgrimage every year in April. In the surroundings we can find the first human evidences in slate with engravings (vessels and some channels), besides some “polishers” related with a settlement called “Cabezo de San Marcos”.
